I know Im my worst enemy, Lets choose to commit to ourselves being the ones to hold ownership10/24/2020 I had a friend message me yesterday asking for some advice.
In his message, he said, “I know I’m my worst enemy” which got me thinking… I’m glad he realizes that. But there’s an important message buried in that statement that needs clarification. Here’s a truth that I’ll recommend you lock into your mind forever… There is no enemy aside from ourselves. Holding on to any other belief is the equivalent of committing to living in victimhood. Consider this: It’s impossible to be victorious and a victim at the same time. You gotta choose one. For many, this is hard because it’s SO much easier to play the most popular game in the world… The blame game. The blame game is the most popular game in the world because it feels better for the ego to blame someone else than to take responsibility for your lack of success. Hold on because El Mateo here is about to offend the weak-minded who are committed to remaining a victim.
That acceptance of responsibility is what’s called POWER. You either choose to be powerful or you choose to be weak – you can’t choose both. If you commit to remaining a victim, you commit to being powerless. If you commit to total responsibility, you commit to power. Which will you choose? Lets choose to commit to ourselves being the ones to hold ownership
