I’m running out for an all-day mastermind session but wanted to share what I think is THE single most powerful question you can ask when someone gives you the "I don’t have the money" objection.
But first… It’s important to validate the objection. So when a prospect says "I don’t have the money", you might say: "Tell me the truth. Is it really that you don’t have the money or is that just a polite way of saying no? Because I’m totally cool either way, I just want to help you." If they validate that they really don’t have the money, then you can confirm their desire: "So if you had the money, would you be getting started right now?" If the answer is yes, then comes the most powerful question: "Do you think you’re powerful enough to come up with the money in the next 24 hours?" Anyone who says no to that is probably not the person you’re looking for. I’ve closed SO many people with this question. Notice that I didn’t vomit all over the prospect with a long-winded sales pitch like most desperate network marketers. All I really did was ask 3 simple, yet crazy effective questions that work like gangbusters. I wish I could have learned just this one technique 25 years ago when I was getting started because my first 5 to 10 years, I lost hundreds of prospects not knowing how to effectively overcome objections.
